Mark Ferdinand Tayag or known as Makoy in the blogosphere is a 28 year old IT guy from Parañaque City, Philippines. Makoy loves to write, enjoys watching movies, eating out and taking photos on his digital camera.
Makoy worked as a Systems Analyst/Developer in a financing company in Ortigas, Pasig City for five years. In June 2008, Makoy moved to Singapore. He is currently a Software Engineer in a government agency in Singapore.

Makoy started blogging on July 18, 2006 to express his thoughts and some of his memorable rants and raves. He currently writes on his five blogs with the following topics: Personal journal, music, entertainment, Photography and make money online.

The Certified Pinoy Blogger is the latest personal blog of Makoy. The Certified Pinoy Blogger was launched on June 2008 and currently have 300 plus posts. He writes about his life in Singapore and some other interesting stuffs. Aside from his rants and raves, he also blogs about his cooking experiments, places and events in Singapore and some stories in the Philippines.
After months of its conception, The Certified Pinoy Blogger launched the biggest contest in blogging titled, "The Big Mak Blog Contest." The contest gave away more than 100,000 Entrecard credits, $200 cash prize and advertising spots from different blogs.

Makoy's Take On The Arts and The Entertainment is Makoy's entertainment blog. This blog was launched on October 26, 2007. This was supposed to be a literary blog but since the blog traffic wasn't picking up, Makoy had decided to convert it to an Entertainment blog. Makoy's Literary Writings though are still on the archive posts.
