Arnold Arnáiz

Arnold "Arnaldo" Arnáiz (November 24, 1980) is a Filipino historian. He owns the Philippine history blog With One's Past.

Arnáiz hails from Makati City, but was born in Santa Ana, Manila. He is of Ilongo descent.

He was a former team leader (supervisor) in an American-owned call center in Northgate Cyberzone, Alabang, Muntinlupà City, but recently resigned to become a full-time historian. He is a distant relative of renowned Filipino scholar Guillermo Gómez Rivera.

Aside from blogging and Philippine historiography, Arnáiz is also a Jiujitsu specialist. He used to be based in Cebú City and, to date, is hte only blogger who has extensively covered the province of Cebú. He is now back in Muntinlupà City as a supervisor for an information technology firm.
