Arnold Arnáiz

Arnold "Arnaldo" Arnáiz (November 24, 1980) is a Filipino historian. He owns the Philippine history blog With One's Past.

Arnáiz hails from Makati City, but was born in Santa Ana, Manila. He is of Ilongo descent.

He was a former team leader (supervisor) in an American-owned call center in Northgate Cyberzone, Alabang, Muntinlupà City, but recently resigned to become a full-time historian. He is a distant relative of renowned Filipino scholar Guillermo Gómez Rivera.

Aside from blogging and Philippine historiography, Arnáiz is also a Jiujitsu specialist. He currently resides in Muntinlupà City with his family.
