Amy Oliveros is an Application Systems Consultant currently connected with one of the leading IT companies here in the Philippines. She Graduated from Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science.

She doesn't have any experience on technical writing nor any writing profession, so most of her blog posts are mainly from her thoughts and how she want to react on a certain topic she is discussing.

She used to see blogging as a waste of time, that's why while a lot of people has been blogging for years, she had recently started her own blog (July 2007).

She started blogging under a sub domain with free hosting to test if blogging is really for her. After two months of blogging, the free host shutdown. Nothing describes the disappointment she felt knowing that her blog has been On and Off for several weeks. This made her realized that blogging is now part of her life, and made her decide to register her own domain and subscibe a hosting plan, thus http://techiegirl.info was born.

She decided to blog to showcase her passion on gadgets and technology, and her main goal is to make her post as informative as possible.

It also includes other information which the author finds relevant to the main topic of the site.
